Let's break up.

Assalamualaikum.

Since I've left blogger for 6 months before (blame PMR for that), I kinda lose the interest to blog now. I still remember how I used to be addicted to blogging (I updated almost every single day back then. And even ditched sleep for that matter), but now that I've got used to be apart from blogger, it doesn't matter anymore to me even if I don't blog. I wonder if people still read this humble page of mine hmmm.

There arere lots of untold things, which I don't feel like narrating it anymore. About my 2nd Dan grading (which I was barely prepared for) a couple of months ago, how my friends and I rummaged that-green-dustbin (seriously) to find our KH project which had been dumped, some fairy-tale-like-stories that took place in my life, the Gathering of Young Minds at St. George's Girls School in Penang which I attended last week, the Amali Perdana at my school which involved all SMKA's and SABK's in Kelantan, our End-of-Year Party and lots of other things which had been deleted from my overcapacity memory space.

I hate to break it to you but I really think that we both should break up, blogger. I'm just not that into you anymore. So let's move on with our lives, shall we? :)

Ohh don't worry. We can still be friends. Even best friends if you want to :3

To those who still read this crap of mine, I promise I'll still update once in a while. Maybe many a time if I'm not as lazy as I usually am :]

Accepting Defeat

Assalamualaikum =)

This year had been an unmistakably amazing year. A year where a great deal of wonderful memories had been created, a plethora of unforgettable experiences were gained, and a numerous amount of lessons that I had learned.

Indeed, the year of 2011 is a very busy year for me as a PMR candidate, with the extra classes, seminars, motivation programs and whatnot. But even so, this year is also the year where I've been involving myself the most with competitions and other activities despite being engulfed with my tight schedules at the same time.

"Winning is not everything. Participating is."

To be frank, I didn't win any of the competitions. The highest I managed to achieve is being second. Yeah, I know it sounds a bit pathetic but then, you can't expect to win all the time can you? Sometimes you've got to taste the bitterness of being defeated before you let yourself drown into the sweetness of victory. Then only you'll learn to appreciate things, and be more grateful to Allah.

"Victory is sweetest when you've known defeat."

Everyone competes to win. And I'm not excluded. We all want to win because winning gives us the satisfaction, the fame, and not to mention the prizes and the advantages that we'll get. But as we all know, life is like a spinning wheel. There are times when we're up, being all high and mighty but don't forget that there are also the times when we're being crushed while being down.

"If you can't accept losing, you can't win."

I lost in History Quiz (second place) by only 1 mark difference with the champion, lost to a boy in Hafazan (second place) where there were only 2 females out of 10 participants, lost in Taekwondo Sparring (bronze medal) to a junior, and lost in Spell It Right Challenge - I was eliminated in the first round (preliminary) .

"Defeat is not the worst of failures. Not to have tried is the true failure."

I would be lying if I said that I wasn't disappointed. But no worries, as there were absolutely no tears involved. I was glad that I participated in those competitions because there are things for me to cherish, things which are not for the public to know ;)

"You've got to learn to survive a defeat. That's when you develop character."

These happenings had taught me how to accept defeat with dignity and optimism, and so that I'll work hard enough to success instead of being overconfident with my abilities.

"I learned much from defeat than I ever learned from winning."

I hope next time I'll be able to merge as the champion.

Keep fighting,

Hyperbole = An obvious deception

"Why are your eyes so beautiful?"

"So that I can stay in your eyes every second I can"

"Why is your voice so mellow?"

"So that my feelings can reach the depth of your heart"

"Why are you looking at me with such watery eyes?"

"So that your fresh smiling face may flood the fountain in my heart"

This is nothing really. They just remind me of the play at my school :)

Ore Klate Gi Kolupo - Part 2

Assalamualaikum :)

So here's the continuation of the previous entry. So be prepared to be drowned in sheer and utter boredom. Muahaha

Day 3 : 19th of October 2011

Our first destination was National Science Centre. There were so many people there off all generations. It was very interesting to see all the things that revolve around Science. We also had the chance to roam around the Jurassic Park and see some dinosaurs from the Age of the Giants. In short, we all learnt something new there and gained a lot of knowledge regarding Science obviously.

And then we performed Zuhur prayers at the National Mosque. Thank Allah, this time I didn't get lost X) . There were so many tourists at the mosque during that time. They looked so adorable wearing those purple robes. Being a friendly Kelantanese Malaysian that I am, I decided to go and say hi to them :P Oh well, to be frank, I actually ran to them and pretended that I just happen to be there at that time. And I was practically panting when talking to them. Lmao. We chatted (I loveee their Irish accent) for a while and they even asked me to give them a tour! Haha lol. But unfortunately I was in a rush, plus I'm not even familiar with the place. Haihh. Rasa bersalah pulak sebab tak dapat tolong diorang T__T

After that, we went to Times Square! Kalau dah sampai Times Square mesti la pegi Cosmo's World Theme Park~ Hihii. I really really had fun y'know. My last time here was like, 7 years ago I think. And that time I was so short (still am though) that I couldn't ride most of the rides, but this time I could try them all! MUAHAHAHA. But sadly under a few circumstances, we didn't have enough time to do so T__T

These are some pictures I stole from the net

Ooort's Express
I don't know why but I laughed so hard when riding this one that my stomach aches.

Sumpah yang ni paling menakutkan. Rasa macam nak gugur je jantung bila kepala duduk kat bawah,
bontot
terangkat kot sebab dah terbalik. I was screaming on top of my lungs while praying like this,

"Ya Allah panjangkanlah umurku! Mamiii bilo nok bretiii takuttt!"
Seriously, I kid you not.
But I still love the cold sensation down my spine. Ngee~ ;P

Dizzy Izzy
It was fun riding this one, before we got bored =_=" We were just spinning around that's all.
And no, I didn't feel dizzy at all, Izzy.

It was nice to see the view from above :) But this isn't as scary as it looks. In fact, it was quite a bore too.

The notorious roller-coaster. MY FAVOURITE. I loved the adrenaline rush so much that I wouldn't mind riding it again. Korang mesti cuba tau BEST GILA.

We met a lady from Iraq who asked us for a favour because she had some trouble with the locker. Lol. We wanted to take pictures with her but we didn't have a camera sob sob. The camera my sister lent me was already out of battery that time how saddd T__T

We went to Sogo afterwards. Nothing much happened there. Boring gila kot kat sana. I guess our teachers were the only ones who enjoyed shopping there. OH! I remember now. My friends and I ate dinner at KFC and then there was this (malay) guy who suddenly spoke Arabic with us. Random gila kot! He only asked simple questions though like Kaifa Haluki (how are you) and Masmuki (what is your name). How scary >_<" And disebabkan bosan kuasa lima puluh enam, kitorang pegi naik semua escalator yang ada, lepas tu turun balik dengan lif. HAHA. Serius takde keje.

Day 4 : 20th of October 2011

Last day of our trip. I don't have much to tell for this day. We went to Putrajaya Mosque, where we met these Chinese tourists (bukan Cina Malaysia) who are surprisingly very friendly despite not understanding a word that we said (macam ayam dengan itik kot). One of them even grabbed (jangan risau dia perempuan) my shoulders OUT OF SUDDEN and took pictures with me. Next we visited the Prime Minister's residence : Seri Perdana, tapi tak masuk dalam pun cuma tengok-tengok kat luar je. Memang asalnya nak masuk, tapi hari kitorang pegi tu ada event kat situ, so it's red light. Hmmph. We also paid a visit to Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI). Orang lain dah siap makan, kita baru nak start. Nasib baik abang tu hensem. Jadi dimaafkan. HAHA. Tak perlulah sebut setiap mamat hensem yang kau jumpa sheeshh mengada-ngada betul. Alhamdulillah, kitorang selamat sampai di pekarangan SMKA Naim Lilbanat lebih kurang pukul 2.00 pagi :)

THE END

Pictures are coming soon! :D
