the day started with Solat Hajat Perdana bcos of the so-called Swine Flu or H1N1 or whatsoever.
sheeshhhh that thing really is making our life miserable isn't it?
there was something else which bothered me yesterday. let's just say it involved me fasting and another me which was having my period on the same day. Do the math. No wonder i felt totally grey with exhaustion and i was craving for water as if i am dying. I don't usually feel like that even though i am fasting. let's just drop that topic shall we? :)
during Science we got a terrible news. at the end of the period, Cikgu Ki got a phone call. when he hung up, the whole class gathered around him in no time. then he said, "Sayo nasihatkan awk supaya paka la topeng muka awk tu." the whole class were like, "HAHHHH?????!!!" our heart sank. we didn't expect this to happen at all. out of 35 students, the result of one of them is positive H1N1. she is a form 3 student.
Geography ended at 1 pm. ustaz rosli made an announcement to inform the teachers and students to assemble at Medan Tarbiah immediately. we were rushing there. we felt so anxious and curious and everything. nothing could describe our feelings. we were among the first ones to arrive there.
as we expected, the reason why we were ordered to go there was bcos of the flu. a doctor was explaining to us about the flu and asking questions and so on.. he's got a great sense of humour u know. then we waited for Skuad Penutupan Sekolah or whatever they are called and a guy from Jabatan Kesihatan to come to our school to make an official announcement about closing the school. we thought the tv3 crews were coming too but unfortunately they didn't. lol.
So, we waited and waited and waited. but there were no signs of the people we were waiting for. i even dozzed off while waiting for them. when i woke up, i was sweating like crazy and i was very very thirsty. then, i went to my classroom and later i went to surau naim to perform Zohor prayers with Qyra. by the time i finished, i heard another announcement telling us to gather at Medan Tarbiah at instance.
So that guy from Jabatan Kesihatan told us that school will be closed for 7 days. so it will reopen on 16th of August. they also told us that the hostelians will be quarantined and they are not allowed to go home eventhough it was minggu balik. they burst into tears and their face was covered with tears and their eyes were as red as blood and all. out of blue, they were like, hating those who are not staying at the hostel. like, wth? but well, we just kept our mouth shut and say nothing. nanti kan x pasal2 pulak gaduh. sheesssssssshhhhh.
you guys must think that we are extremely delighted bcos our school is closing for a week. but the answer is a big fat NO. just imagine, on the day the school reopens, we will be sitting for our exam and we are soooo not prepared. cikgu2 pun x habis ajar lagi and we have to study by ourselves???! dah la jadual exam blom dpt. and worst part of all, i freaking LEFT my books at school. Well, not all of them but still!! *heave a deep sigh* And most probably, we will be ganti-ing the 5 days the school are closed on 5 big fat saturdays!! omg omg omg. we are so freaking DOOMED.
we were allowed to go home around half past 3 and the parents were nagging and all and everything. i hitched a ride to ZS with Mimie. met Alia, Ika and Mierah the maherians. talked, laughed, took pics and everything that we usually do. and ohh, didie the height obsessor gladly tells u that she is taller that Alia Almaz Azni Shah *smug* no hard feelings alia. hehe. A junior actually called me 'Kak Nadiah" which sounded totally weird. im not used to be addressed like that apart from my family. and the pics are AWESOME+FANTASTIC+FABULOUS+MARVELLOUS. i don't have the nerve to upload the pictures here bcos it will take a while and Atiq is asking me when im going to finish many a time.
