Mangosteen ; Queen of Fruits

The mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana) is a tropical evergreen native to Malaysia and Indonesia.

The rind of the fruit is deep reddish purple when ripe.

The fragrant flesh is sweet and creamy, citrusy with a touch of peach flavor. In Asia, the mangosteen fruit is known as the "Queen of Fruits."

Ripened mangosteen is roughly the same size as a mandarin orange, with a reddish-purple rind. An interesting fact about this fruit is that there is always a type of scar at one end. This is a remnant of the flower, and the number of remnant flower parts contained in the scar will tell you precisely how many segments of fruit are inside. Besides containing more fruit, those with the most segments will have fewer seeds. The fruit itself is sweet, with a texture that has been likened to a ripe plum.

Have i ever told you guys that mangosteen is my favourite fruit?
When i was 7 i told my mom that i wanted to plant a mangosteen tree at the backyard of our house. But she said it's not easy to grow a mangosteen tree. Besides, she can go buy the mangosteens at the market if i want to eat them. I felt so dissapointed that time. Haha. Childhood memories. Wait i sec, i am still a child lah. HAHAHAHAHA. koya besar!

Just now, my cousin Sarah came to my house. I compared my height with her and guess what, I AM FREAKiNG TALLER THAN HER!!! HAHHAHAHAHAHAA. Last year, i was shorter than her you know. For your information, Sarah is currently 12 years old and her height and Atiq's is the same.

Conclusion: I AM TALLER THAN ATIQ.

But i hope Atiq does not get taller. Hehe. Atiq told me that her height is 155 cm. But my height is 152 cm. But well, maybe one of us miscalculated or something. Parallax error can happen anytime you see.

Ya Allah Nadiah, why are u making this height thingy such a big deal? Tunggu je la nanti Atiq balik Malaysia. Pastu ukur la tinggi ngko ngan dye. Kan senang? Tak payah lah nak pening-pening kepale pikir sendiri. Impatient btol la minah ni.
