Ore Klate Gi Kolupo - Part 1

Assalamualaikum I bid to all Muslims out there =)

Hey guys how y'all doing? (imitates Kevjumba)

In case you've been wondering, I'm still alive and kicking, still breathing the same oxygen that everyone is inhaling right now and still as clumsy as everrr (I fell into the drain thrice in two days).

I just got back from Kuala Lumpur. If you're following my twitter, you'll know what I've been doing for the past 4 days :D But if you didn't, allow me to narrate the happenings in the capital city of Malaysia ;)

Lawatan Perkongsian Pintar Sekolah Berprestasi Tinggi SMKA Naim Lilbanat ke Kuala Lumpur

Day 1 : 17th of October 2011

We departed from school exactly at 9.00 am which had been scheduled beforehand by our teacher. The air-conditioner in the bus was literally freezing us into ice cubes that we should really thank the Almighty God for blessing us with the hearts which are still beating. The journey took 10 whole hours and we stopped at Ampang Point for dinner before checking into our hotel.

Day 2 : 18th of October 2011

After putting on our school uniforms and had breakfast, we all went to University of Malaya : Faculty of Languages and Linguistics. We were given quite an interesting talk there about the courses and other related stuffs, asked a few questions out of curiosity and heard the answers. I really felt like taking an Arabic course and become an Arabic teacher or even better, work with an ambassador or a private company ( I can demand for a higher salary teehee) as a translator. While I'm at it, I could still learn Japanese or Spanish or any other language that I want. Sounds interesting right? :D Oh well, I'll just leave everthing to Allah and let Him guide me to the best path :)

Then, we went to PKNS building. I bought a quite pricey purple blouse there. Really really hope that it's worth buying. I mean like, I always, always (note the emphasis on that word) have regrets after spending a great deal of money on something that wasn't even worth the price. I spent quite some time deliberating, weighing on my mind whether or not to buy the blouse that my friend and I became the last persons to ride the bus. Lol.

Our next stop was KarangKraf! Omg seriously we really had the time of our lives there. We had the chance to observe how books/magazines/newspapers are being processed before they are published. It was like magic y'know, from blank papers and suddenly they turn into magazines with colours of the rainbow and stapled. Technology never fails to amaze me. And the people who work there were so cool and not to mention, cute. Lol haha. One of them was practically blushing when he was explaining to us what he does. And then there was this guy, who apparently is the illustrator of G3 known as A'an Budak Baik. He was sooooo hillarious. He really did crack us up. Here is more or less one of the things that he said :

Haha. Serius mengarut gila. Anyhow, he's a very skilled and talented cartoonist and he told us that he really enjoys what he does because it's like doing something that you like and getting paid for it. Lucky him.

We even met Intan Ladyana there! I'm not really a fan of hers, but I did get excited to see her face-to-face up close in real life. She looked nice and pretty and she even smiled and gave us a friendly wave. Fan service I guess XD

Although I don't read YEZZ, G3, Remaja, or Klik, I do read Sinar Harian (which is also published by Karangkraf) at times. And I love the fact that Sinar Harian is not biased (in terms of politics) and in fact, it unites us all. And I'm proud to say here that the owner of this gigantic publishing company is a Kelantanese :D Plus, he's also the son of one of the founders of Madrasah Naim (which is now known as SMKA Naim Lilbanat lols).

Alahai keciknyaa. Did you find me? :D

We performed our prayers at Masjid Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah which is so spacious and grand-looking. It was really admirable. And I got lost for a while looking for the exit. ROFL.

We had dinner at a restaurant (more like a food court actually) nearby the mosque. And lucky us, again the owner is a Kelantanese. We even got a price cut for our food! :D

After our stomachs were all stuffed, we headed to iCity~ It was my second time there. I went there last year with my family, but that time, the Snowalk was still under construction. So this time, I did not want to lose the opportunity going inside it with my lovely friends :3 It was even bigger than the one in Genting Highlands y'know. I really had a wonderful time playing with the fake snows although we were basically freezing to the point of not being able to feel our numb hands and delicate fingers. If I'm not mistaken it was 5 degrees in there. And and, the flowers in our hearts bloomed when we met the ohh-so-hot photographers who were tailing us around taking our pictures because there wasn't really anyone else to be followed. Lol. Guess what, two of them were Kelantanese~ Ore Rantau Panjang bbena. Nevertheless they really did keep us 'warm' in the coldness. HAHAHA. Tu belum lagi sebut pasal abang kat entrance and abang yang kat kaunter gambar. Despite being offended a little by them, we still had a blast. Ada ke patut diorang cakap "Kelantan bukan yang kalah Piala Malaysia tu ke?" and "Kenal tak pendrive?" Seriously, memang sengaja nak cari pasal. Even the aboriginals pun tahu lahh genamo rima pendrive tuh. Pfft. Sekeh baru tahu. AND WHAT THE HELL WE GOT INTO THE FINALS TWICE IN A ROW YOU JELLY.

To be continued...

*****

My blog looks kinda boring don't you think? I really need touch it up a bit and give it a new look. Hmmm. But that'll have to wait.

See you in Part 2!

The day I turned FIFTEEN

.....began with an ominous beginning.

I left home at a quarter to seven but I only reach the school at 8 am. I repeat EIGHT O'CLOCK IN THE MORNINGGG! Pecah rekod dunia. Seriously, I abhor constructions with the highest degree of abhorrence. Especially those which are supposed to finish already.

How ironic. I used to be taking down the names of late students. Looks like I'll have to write my own name this time. To make things even worse, I had a History Quiz to participate this morning. Perfect. Just like the icing on the cake.

With a foul mood, I rushed to my class while carrying my two schoolbags and the Kek Batik which Mama made the night before. While walking, I suddenly heard shouts from above. I looked up and saw my classmates at the 3rd floor of the building I'm heading to.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY DIDIE!!"

Mannn. That really puts out the blazing fire in my heart that time.

It might seem ordinary, but to me that moment was very touching. I can't even remember the last time I had this kind of feeling.

When I got into the class, everyone was showering me with birthday wishes. I gave the Kek Batik I brought to Amirah and told her to distribute it to the rest of the class. After that I hurried downstairs again with Nabihah and Farhana as we were going to SMK Putera for the district level History Quiz.

To cut it short, we got second place with only 1 mark difference. Yeahh I know it's frustrating. But actually, being the first runner-up is not even half bad when you only had two days to prepare. Oh well, at least we went back to school with a full stomach because Cikgu Fadzli treated us to brunch :D

There was a Pertandingan Bahas which was held at our school. And again, Naim lost to SIC and got second place.

Today was also a red letter day for SPM '10 candidates. All praises to Allah, 26 of Naim students got straight A's. We're second in Kelantan after Faris Petra (what's with number 2 huh? Are we jinxed or something?) .

I skipped extra class today. Had an appointment at 3pm this evening.

Then we went to buy birthday cake! Woohoo~!

Thank you to everyone who wished me Happy Birthday including those who merely said HB. I really do appreciate it. Love you guys loadss <3

Adek burnt my knee.

F.I.N.A.L.L.Y

*heaves a sigh of relief*

Finally. Finallyyyyyyyyyyy. Woohooo yayyyy!!!

Whoopss. Almost forgot. Assalamualaikum readers!

So heyya everyone. How are you doing? Mannnnn I've been gone for an eternity at least. Don't put the blame on me. It's all the Internet's fault. Internet hates me BIG BIG GIGANTIC ENORMOUS TIME. Mana taknya. Asal aku nak on je mesti buat hal. Time adek aku guna okay la plak.

Figuratively speaking, I've drawn a THICK RED LINE between me and the desktop. Seriously, I can't even be within 1 meter radius with it. Because we've got different poles you see. The magnetic force will bring us togetherrr no matter what. And once I'm attracted to the desktop, it will require a great deal of strength to separate us.

But now that exam has ended and school holiday is opening its arms widely to welcome us devoted students, I can date with Internet as much as I want. The only problem now is that I had a tinny tiny problem winning its heart back after abandoning it for a long period.

PKBS 1 has ended. I've gotten most of my results and uhmm they were not so flattering. OK SHUT UP. Actually they do please me and I am so so grateful to Allah. But there are still lots of room for improvement so I'm gonna be all out for the coming exams and most important of all the pain-in-the-ass PMR. Adoilaaa kalau SPM nanti entah macam manalahhh kepala hotak aku.

I've been pretty much doing nothing during the school hols. Top 3 things that I do : 1. Bukak peti 2. Amek Chocolate 3. Tutup peti. To be frank, I don't really mind gaining a few kilos (despite weighing 47 kg now) but I just hope I won't suffer any kind of diseases. Nauzubillahiminzalik. Oh well, I'll stop consuming chocolates ( for a while) when the stocks are out (Mama beli chocolates satu lori kontena dari Langkawi so, stok masih berlambak. Harap maklum) .

I haven't even laid a finger on my homework. OK tipu. I touched it yesterday but it was to keep it out of my sight. God, buku-buku teks dan yang seangkatan dengannya are such eyesores. Of course, magazines and storybooks are excluded. In fact these lovely books are the apples of my eye :D Speaking of magazines, I'm totally in love with Reader's Digest. Really makes the ignorant me more knowledgeable. And tak pasal2 aku boleh kenal Denise Keller. Lawl.

I've always been complaining about my loneliness at school. But now I think I've got used to it. I don't mind sitting alone at the table for 6 at science lab. I don't mind being the last person to leave the class when others have gone to the workshop. Dan saya tak kesah pegi menyibuk kat orang lain bila rasa boring/sendirian. Sometimes it's better to be in a secluded island rather than being in a large crowd doing nothing but talking and gossiping.

(HR. Tirmidzi, no. 2541)

So don't blame me if I'm taciturn, aloof or the word that has been said to me millions of time, antisocial. I only talk a lot with people I'm close with (or at least I feel close with them) . And I suck at making new friends. Sorry.

Ya Allah kenapalaaa serius semacam je ni. Korang jangan risau ah. Anda-anda semua yang sedang membaca ni mesti la rapat dengan saya kan. For that reason, you guys won't see the silent side of me. Yang korang kenal ialah Makcik Didie yang cakap banyak 24/7 tnpa henti.

By the way, Kakwe told me to participate in S-I-R this year. Nak masuk tu memanglah nak tapi berdebar seihh. Dulu pun menang sbb Allah memang dah nak kasi rezeki. Padahal vocabulary entah pape. Macam mana nak menang kat Nationals kalau implicit pun tak tahu nak eja. HAHAHAHA. Bila difikirkan rasa macam bodoh gila. Perkataan senang macam tu pun takleh eja. Adoiii.

I better start doing my homework now. Hari Jumaat nok gi blaghok kat Kuantan pulok.

I'm always amazed with His powers. How can this world be so big but yet so small.
I'm happy to hear about you again. I'm glad that you've turned into a good person. Keep it that way okay? I really really hope to meet you again one day :)

To infinity and beyond,

Now that's what I'm talking about dude!

Check out this video peeps. Pretty much explains it all.

Mannnnnn I couldn't agree more with this. Anwar Hadi, I'm officially a fan of yours. Keep up making superb videos. YOU GO GIRL MAN!!

Masak-masak Masterchef

Assalamualaikum.

I think I can doz off any minute now. Mengantuk seihhhh. Baru balik KB Mall beli barang. Ramai gilaaa manusia okay. Large crowds suffocate me. Happy Chinese New Year by the way.

Anyhow, I had a scrumptious lunch today. Sup Kuning and Kuzi made by my sister. Thank you kakak! Okaylahh tu kan, semalam saya masak, hari ni dia pulak masak.

Saya masak ayam rebus semalam. Hehe. First time buat. Baru tahu macam mana cara-cara nak buat ayam rebus. Kalau nak tahu, saya ni bukannya belajar masak masa Mama tengah masak kat dapur. Saya belajar masak masa Mama pegi kerja. Pelik kan? Kalau time Mama tengah masak kat dapur, boleh kira dengan jari je berapa kali saya jejak kaki kat dapur tu. Haha. Sebab saya nak conquer dapur tu sorang-sorang. Taknak kongsi dengan sesiapa pun. Muahaha.

Mula-mula ingat nak masak Tom Yam. Tapi sebab sayur takde, so terpaksalah buat lauk lain iaitu ayam rebus. So, saya pun call la Mama tanya macam mana nak buat. Tak susah mana pon. Korang pun boleh buat... First sekali, kena tumbuk bawang merah dengan halia. Guna pestel and mortar okay. Cara tradisional gitu. Tak main laa blender blender ni.. lepas tu peram ayam, goreng ayam, tumis bawang dgn halia, masukkan ayam and last sekali masukkan air. Jadilah ayam rebus! Haha.

Besok Kakak nak buat Red Velvet Cake. Yayy! Ahh lantak ah berat badan nak naik pun. Bukannya aku nak jadi model kena maintain body segala.

Ohh ohh, there's this drama series I'm following right now. I am sooooo head over heels in love with the lead actor.

Kyaaaaa~! Comelnyaaaa Dai Yang Tian!!! *nosebleed*

Nak naik basikal dengan Lin Xiao Bei jugakkkk! Okay cut the crap. He's Singaporean fyi. Not some Korean actor the whole world is crazy about. I dare bet my last penny you have never heard of him before. Hahaa. You gotta be pulling my leg if you say you had.

And by the way, sorry for getting rid of the chatbox. I don't really see the use of it anyway. Buat menyemak ade la kot.

Minah ni datang lagi

Heyyaa. I'm here again.

Selalunya pagi-pagi macam ni tengah berdengkur lagi atas katil. Mana taknya, lepas Subuh je mesti landing balik. But today, I prohibited myself from sleeping by onlining! Isn't that smart? ^^

Sebelum turun tadi Mama suruh jemur kain. While I was at it, I unintentionally broke a cloth peg. Geez. This happens all the time. I even lost track of how much cloth pegs I've destroyed. Memanglah prosak sejati. Yours truly is a destroyer. She destroys almost everything she lays her her finger on. Haha takdelah. Pengepit baju tu yang dah reput. I iz as innocent as a lamb. Ohh by the way, tadi masa tengah jemur kain sarong Mama terfikir pulak nak tukar blog title jadi The Maiden in Sarong. HAHAHAHA classic seihh. Ni baru authentic. What say you? xD Tapi betul lah, saya suka pakai sarong walaupun nampak macam orang dalam pantang. Sangat selesa okayy. Lagipun sarong free size so boleh amek Mama punya sesuka hati. Hahaa. Biasalahh I kan orang kampung X)

Ohh, lagu Insya Allah Malay Version dah keluar. Hari tu masa diorang interview Maher Zain kat tv, dia cakap dia belum ingat lirik lagi. He also said that he carries the lyrics in his pocket all the time. It shows that he's very determined isn't it? :)

I'm not really a big fan of Maher Zain. Well, I do love his songs albeit hearing them only once in a while. I first knew about him last year when I heard the song Barakallahu Lakuma being aired dekat asrama. Haha.

Come to think of it, I don't think I'm a big fan of anything. Kalau minat pun, minat biasa-biasa je. Sebab tu kadang-kadang saya menyampah dengan golongan die-hard. Macam takde life je. Tak paham la kenapa kebanyakan teenagers sekarang fanatic dengan Koreans. Memang la saya pun minat jugak tengok drama Korea tapi takdelaa sampai se-fanatik korang. Kalau zaman Stairway to Heaven dengan Full House dulu, tak ramai pun orang yang tengok drama Korea. Tapi sekarang dah bersepah.

Orang yang ignorant macam saya ni pun boleh tetiba je tahu pasal SHINee, 2pm, Super Junior etc etc. Nak kata hensem tu, hensem la jugak kot seposen dua. Haihh. Sorilah korang. Saya ni memang manusia yang boring. Nak buat macam mana kalau hidup macam katak di bawah tempurung. Suratkhabar baca sekali sekala. Berita tengok jarang-jarang. Astro tak ada. Radio tak dengar. Lagu apa yang tengah hit sekarang ni pun saya tak tau. Haha. Lagipun saya ni bukannya jenis dengar lagu 24/7. Islamic ke, bukan Islamic ke, semua sama. MP3 yang orang kasi 2 tahun yang lepas tu pun tak guna. Entah-entah dah rosak. Nak download lagu pun, computer buruk ni tak cukup space. Haihh.

I might have said something very offensive but I still want to say this : No offense please.

Ciao amigos.
